Lessons learned from live performance/public speaking:
- prepare/calm your nerves so you DON’T speak for 2 1/2 minutes before the song
- decrease usage of: like, right & um
- try not to choke on your own spit
- take the time to adjust the mic so you’re not hunched over the keyboard, people can wait an extra few seconds to assuage your discomfort
